We needed a nice abstract image to use for the new REBOL/View 1.3 installer. I asked Cyphre (graphics guru Richard Smolak) what kind of magic he could work. I expected him to come up with a couple of static images. What he created was a very cool random image generator that can create thousands of abstract images.

It's fun to try. You can enter a seed number, such as your birthday, home address, part of your phone number, or any other number, and it will use that as the seed to generate an abstract image. If you want to use the image in your program, there's a button to export the effect block. (Which is orders of magnitude smaller than the image itself.)

You can locate the pattern generator in the REBOL/tests/view folder in the REBOL Viewtop (desktop). Just be sure you are using a newer version of REBOL. Like most REBOL programs, the download is very small. Just the blink of an eye.
