If you are an advanced REBOL programmer, it's time for you to try the REBOL virtual machine. We call it rebcode, and we just released what we hope will be the next-to-final alpha test version.

We have also posted the Rebcode - REBOL Virtual Machine documentation so you can understand the benefits of rebcode functions and how to write them. This information is not for new REBOL users. You need to understand what you are doing.

You can download the alpha version from REBOL Test versions for Win32. There is both /Core (2.6.51) and /View (1.3.51) versions. Linux, BSD, and OSX will follow once we move this to beta level.

What is still left to do on the VM? We plan to rename the opcodes to make it more clear which ones are integer and which are decimal. So, you may not want to write a lot of code yet, until that is finalized.
