The REBOL Blogger script that runs this blog has been updated to build static web pages for each of the individual blog entries.

This has two advantages:

  1. It reduces load on the server. Pages don't need to be constructed each time.
  2. It provides better search engine referencing, because the pages are permanent rather than dynamic. (Of course, this is one of those debatable topics, but we've found it to be true for some of the other pages we publish on this specific web server.)

The main blog page will continue to be dynamically generated. This allows most browsers to view the new content of the blog without requiring you to refresh the page. Since this blog changes several times a day, that is a desirable property.

The blogger script has also been updated to allow you to run more than one blog from the same website.

The blog.r script has been updated on REBOL.com.
