Here is a photo taken this morning at 7:35 from Sassenranch looking to the north-west. The fog fills Redwood Valley (10 km north of Ukiah, California) and only the peaks show through.

When this happens, I always stop to enjoy the sight of it. The temperature outside was 0 degrees C (32 F).
